The biggest startup campus in the world
OUR BASECAMP
We are incubated at Station F, the biggest startup campus in the world. Funded by Xavier Niel and directed by Roxanne Varza, Station F is the best place to start and manage a digital business in France. Advenworks has been selected to be one of the first members of the "Founders Program" and benefits of this great innovative environment.
How did it
START?
What do 2 geeks when they meet?
Romain and Nicolas met at Ubisoft HQ in Montreuil, France, and worked together on several video game AAA projects like Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon or Just Dance. Romain as Producer and Nicolas as User Experience Expert.
Dragon Kid: The first game of a long series
Nicolas and Romain decided to start a project together beside their job, just for the joy of art and creation. The challenge: Develop a game in 3 months during their free time. Dragon Kid in Towerland is the first game of Advenworks.
A year of transition
Romain moved to Newscastle, England, to work as Producer on a new exciting Ubisoft IP: Watch_Dogs, and then for Lionhead Studio (Microsoft) on the Fable franchise. As a Creative Officer, Nicolas moved to Oxent (acquired by the Webedia Group in 2016), e-sport french reference startup (ESWC / Toornament).

Remote working: a company philosophy
Thrilled by the Dragon Kid experience, Romain and Nicolas quickly decided to continue to work remotely and to jump into a new game production: Birdy Party.
Romain – in England – and Nicolas – in France – successfully created & fine-tuned an innovative production methodology with remote work at its heart.

Going full remote: From 2 to 7
From the constraint of the distance is born a full remote work methodology and a company philosophy.
Remote working allows to work with the best talents of the industry, wherever they are in the word. New talented people joined the adventure. A multicultural team of 7 people worked on Birdy Party.
Aline in London, Estee in Cincinnati, Vincent in Paris, Lise in Montpellier and Georgie in Newcastle.
